Space Art: Cross-Stitched Planets By Navid Baraty
New York City and Los Angeles-based photographer Navid Baraty started a new side project with the goal of cross-stitching the entire Solar System.
His project, so far, includes Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto and Mars.
Each planet is 4″ in diameter and is made using anywhere between 20 to 35 colours.
Navid’s space art is created based on actual planetary images and each planet takes him around 3-4 weeks to complete.
The next planet that Navid will stitch is Earth and when he finishes the rest of the planets, he plans on making the moons.
Navid’s works aren’t for sale, but you can buy his patterns which are available on Etsy for $5.50.
