Photographer Valerio Vincenzo has been working since 2007 on his award-winning project entitled ‘Borderline, the Frontiers of Peace‘ in which he explored dozens of peaceful and open European borders amongst 26 countries that share over 16,500 km of free frontiers.

“With the help of a GPS and detailed maps, I have conducted many trips along these “erased” borderlines, with the intention of capturing the essence of these now-peaceful crossings.”, Valerio states about his project.
