For his ‘Wander Space Probe‘ ongoing series, artist and photographer Navid Baraty (previously featured here) creates stunning images of an imaginary cosmos by scanning food and household items on a photo scanner. His space scenes look so accurate that seem as they were shot by a space telescope.

These fictional space scenes are creations I’ve made by placing household items on an Epson photo scanner and then making a scan with the lid open. Many of them are entirely edible.‘, the artist states.
