HYBYCOZO Geometric Laser Cut Sculptures

HYBYCOZO: Geometric Laser Cut Sculptures

Yelena Filipchuk and Serge Beaulieu have designed HYBYCOZO, a series of geometric laser cut sculptures inspired by the intersection of science, technology, maker culture, and the artists’ favorite book, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

HYBYCOZO project was created from artists’ passion for design, technology, geometry, and installation art to the next level through provoking objects.

The sculptures are made of steel, measuring from 6 to 14 feet tall and weighing over 600 lbs. When lit from the inside by LED lights or fire at night, they reveal geometric designs inspired by ancient Islamic tiles and the patterns created by particle physicists when modeling the unified field theory.

More info about these sculptures can be found on artists’ website.
