Ohio-based artist Gary Hovey creates amazing animal sculptures by cutting, welding, and shaping stainless steel forks, knives, and spoons.
‘My sculptures are about things that I enjoy – wildlife, welding, and humor.’ Hovey state.
Each of Gary’s sculpture is made entirely of stainless steel tableware, most of it recycled.
In 1994, Gary was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He says that producing and showing his work is both challenging and therapeutic for him.
Because Gary never uses molds, no two sculptures will be alike. Prices of his works range from $50 to $5,000.
