Terézia Krnáčová is a textile artist from Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. For her project titled ‘Everyday Bread‘, she embroidered six slices of bread, every with a different design, representing the days of the week, and the seventh slice of bread remaining plain in the honour of Sunday, which is a day of relaxation.

She explains the concept of this project as an expression of her personal relationship with textile: ‘I love textile art and I can‘t live a day without it.’

The project reflects that food and art are the important things that sustain and comfort her. You can see more of Terézia’s textile work on Behance.
